Already forth theme of WinterNAC and this time the theme is "Lucia/Christmas where you live". Lucia is a tradition which I've seen isn't common world around. I choose the clothing from Lucia (she has a white dress and a red bow/sash around her waist) and made it quite simple with a a bow stamping using MoYou N01 and their Special red polish on top of a white base. I've also freehanded some thin red lines. I'm really happy with the result and also proud that I managed to make the bows as straight as here, improvement! :)

Polishes and materials used:

MoYou special red polish
MoYou Image plate N01

The picture above gives some directions of the look of the participants of the Lucia tradition (minus the colored collar and shoes, generally the collars are white and the shoes are like any of choice, probably dark/black) Here is some info in english; link.

If you buy a nail art set, any of you choice, you can pick one polish OR one image plate of your choice if you use the code CEL246. Which polish or the number of the image plate you want, you write at the comment section at the checkout. You can use the code as many times you want, as long as you buy a nail art set. :D

Hi! Sorry I wasn't able to post yesterday but working late shifts two days in  row doesn't help much. However, for today I have a nail art I really like that I want to show you. It's from last year, in August and my nails where suuuper long ;) Basically I've here made a white to transparent gradient using a creme white and a skin toned jelly and then red rhinestones on top. I could totally see myself in this but with other rhinestone colors too. I've actually already tried it in green. Hope you like! :D

Today is the first day in the 31 day nail challenge I'm doing and the first prompt is red. Tomorrow is orange.

I decided to do a red funky french with a twist. I had some kind of dress in mind but the red one below was the only I found that had some resemblance of what I was thinking of. Maybe something like the dress Halle Berry had on for a show.

I'll guess you'll understand when you see my photos. I think I like it, but I'm a bit bothered by the brush strokes showing in the red polish. Normally I'm not disturbed by that but this time I was. What do you think?

It's Nail Art Sunday with the not surprising theme "Christmas" ;) For me this upcoming Christmas is different, I'm working and the rain is pouring down right now. Usually I'm not working and usually there is lots of snow outside this time of the year. My new job changed a lot, my bf and I where planning to visit my parents in mid December and then I also planned bringing my Christmas decoration to the apartment, which never happened because I got this job and therefore there isn't a single thing in the apartment reminding me about Christmas, except my nails I guess. But I don't mind, it's not that important, we wont be home during Christmas anyhow.

What I'm showing today is a white and red nail art which is really simple in one hand but still very festive. It's a french manicure but with a high arrow like smiley and each "smiley" I've decorated with red rhinestones and on the accent nails I've added extra rhinestones and I guess we can imagine it to be some sort of Christmas ornament, right? I really liked this and hope you do too. :)

While I'm at it I might as well try show the few WITW-post I got in the archive. I had a plan to be done with this challenge before 2014 but we'll see.. Country no. 11 is Hungary and I really had to rub my head backwards until I knew what I wanted to do. Apparently Tulip's are the national flower for Hungary (I would have bet money that it was the national flower for the Netherlands though!). I therefore started google for tulip nail art and found the most adorable tulip nail art ever and I knew I wanted to redo it, but as a funky french, I don't like showing my smiley's naked.. I also used a red jelly glittery glowing polish which I think worked so great with the opaque white. I seriously liked this and there'll be more tulips going on here in the future! ;)

And again, if Malin at Nerd Colours approves this for her Red Tuesday I'm in! :)

Today it is inspired by a flag, which in my opinion is the least fun amongst the inspired by selection, since I'm doing the Where in the world-challenge I made sure that I'd pick a flag of a country not appearing in the list of that challenge. I also remembered that Natalia from Polished Polyglot thought it was sad that neither of her home country or living country was in the list so I figured that I would chose either one of them. I went for the flag of Switzerland and got inspired by the  white cross on red background and the decided to keep it simple but still fun with two accent nails with a cross stitch pattern. As you might remember I made cross stitch pattern for day no. 7 too and I think the result was better that time, I felt a bit shakier this time making the cross and thats never a good thing. I also realized that I must purchase more red polishes, apparently this is my only bright red(!) in my whole collection..
