There is no theme for Nail Art Sunday this Sunday so I'll show you something from the archive. Last year I joined an Christmas Challenge where I did Christmas Elf nail art and I really liked the base colors so I recreated it. Amazingly the red Claudia and the green polish mix so good when I made them into a gradient that they create a third color, here purple. Love when that happens! Here I also decided to add black and white glitter on top, only wish I remember which one of all my b&w glitters..

Polishes used:
Claudia - 607
unknown heart shaped bottle (swatch here)

black and white glitter (can't remember which one and can't check since I'm in Germany, sorry for that)

Today's second post.. ;) And yea, let's look at some nails this time. I'm so impressed by these Claudia polishes, so I really recommend them.

Anyhow, 610 is a creme purple polish from Claudia. Slightly darker on the nails than the bottle like many of the polishes from Claudia (I've noticed). This is 3 coats and it's very shiny on it's own even if this is with tc. This might be my favorite creme purple. :) It was also cheap 15SEK (1,5 euro) in a local food store. Pure awesomeness! :)

Bought at ICA for 15SEK (1,5 euro).

I also wanted to show you my Fuck Cancer nail art/Pink ribbon nail art/Black and pink nail art in matte too. However I can't figure out which one like the most though, I like them both because of different reasons. Do you prefer any of them?

As you can see I've used 1 coat of Claire's - Matte top coat, and the effect is semi matte, a pleasant surprise with it is that it doesn't loose its "matteness" after 2 days like some matte top coat does. It doesn't dry as fast as some matte tc does (like seconds) but normal, you can see it goes matte after 20-40 seconds and then allow it to dry for some minutes. I really like it and might get a backup if/when I leave Germany. I still want to find a super matte top coat though with good quality so the search continues.. :)

Think I'll make a round up-post with all the United In Pink Posts I've done during this week. Hold tight ;)

This week Nail Art Sunday is combined with United in Pink and the theme is breast/boobs..which is a hard theme if you want to do it literally, and also want to make it artistic and tastefull. At first I was thinking of doing something graphical/abstract like LittleMissNailPolish did last year but then decided for something with accent nails and got inspired by my simple black/green nail art I did 2 weeks ago.  The accent nails are free handed and I got black glitter on the rest. I think I accomplished the theme, there is some boob nail art going on and also some Pink Ribbon nail art with a clear statement: Fuck Cancer.

Today I'm showing something super pink for United in Pink. The last Claudia from the bunch I bought awhile back, but I still have a few in the archive unshowed. 603 has been laying there untested but I thought UIP was a good oppurtunity to try it on. As with the previous Claudia the formula is perfect and I used 3 coats, even though I suspect that 2 is enough for shorter nails since it's very pigmented. The color is bright but it's definitely not a neon. I'm not that comfortable having this pink color (without nail art), especially when my nails are this long, makes me think of fakies.. ^^ And a  sad thing, to my surprice the polish stained my nails despite my base coat.. :(

Bought at ICA (food store) for 15SEK, about 1,5 euro.

I'm making an attempt to post a blog post. From my archive, my choice fell on the blue creme; Claudia - 609. As all the Claudia's I've tried the formula is great, as well as application and finish, not to speak about the price (15SEK which is about ~1,5 euro). Below is 2 coats and as I mentioned this is a creme, however, in the polish there's some silver shimmer dust giving the polish some further depth even though it's clearly not a shimmer polish. If it's not obvious, this is a blue polish I like, perfect for nail art and I even like it on it's own like this. :P

And as it's Monday, this fits perfectly for Blue Monday which Makeupbyblowfish now is the host for while Nailme while she is up to other stuff.

In the bottle you see some of that silver shimmer I've been talking about.

And one extra in the sun.^^
Bought at Ica Maxi, regular food store in Sweden.

This was actually meant to be published yesterday but the time wasn't just enough..As you can see of the nail art I've used a creme white base and then I've dotted rows of black, red and yellow dots diagonally over my nails. First I was disappointed and thought that I should have done one row of each color to get them as many times instead of three here. And I'm not sure about the yellow color, maybe this one is too bright together with the white? However my boyfriend liked it and I decided to keep it. :)

And yes...today I'll finally tell you my good news I've been talking about in a previous post.. At the bottom of the post. ;)

Kleancolor - Neon Yellow

Kleancolor - White
Claudia - 607

..And then to the news (or actually there are two news) which as you might have suspected had something to do with the nail art, kinda.. ;) Me and my boyfriend are moving to Germany; Cologne. My bf has got a cool job offer/internship and I'm hoping that there are some possibilities there for me too. At least the possibilities there are better comparing to the small town we're living in here in Sweden. At this point we're not sure how long we're staying, it depends on how everything is going and how we feel. I'll of course continue to blog and I'm bringing a some of my polishes, but not all of them (that would be quite impossible, especially in the beginning). And I also have some news for the blog, I got this really cool cooperation with MoYou! So in a very soon future you'll see some stamping going on here. ;) I really like that because I've been really stoked about getting started with stamping (like more serious, today I feel very insecure about it; I have a lot to learn.) and also some of you readers have proposed that I should show more stamping, so win-win. :) xx

Today I'm showing Claudia - 611 which is a dusky teal blue creme covering with 3 coats (maybe 2 thick would work too). For some weird reason I'm never drawn to teal polishes, however I'm realizing that I really like wearing them after all. This was almost not bought at all but because of the good price and I was buying the other colors this one couldn't be left alone. ;) In general these Claudia polishes has really impressed me with good quality and their low price.  As you might remember this was part of my last contribution to Nail Art Sunday and this will appropriately also be my contribution to Blue Monday. :P

Bough at food store (ICA).

Hi, Today I have a simple but chic nail art to show. The colors was actually inspired by something Traces of Polish did way back and I knew I wanted to use the same color scheme. I guess there isn't anything more to say than that you can check out more nail art at Lelack for Nail Art Sunday.
