Another post in the Nail Challenge Collaborative, this time #dots 3. As it is a skittelette it's a lot of things going on, glitter gradients, needle dragging and some kind of square pattern and the "star" of the nail art; the dotticure snowflake. Not so happy with my ring finger, feels like I could have composed this better.. I really like the snow flake, a simple way to make a cool nail art. Hope you like it anyhow. :)

For this Nail Art Sunday the theme is "letters" and even though I was close trying out that "newspaper/alcohol method", I ended up in a free hand nail art instead. I've seen some cool scripted text nail art with the text "love" for example. So basically I used a cool gray creme + black glitter polish as a base and added metal studs, free hand text limited on two nails so my left and right hand would be more cohesive. So on my dominant hand I added a black glitter gradient as accents instead. I like this look, it come out pretty clean, elegant and also simple looking in some ways too. Hope you'll like it. ^^

And below is some shot of my left hand (haha so unusual making some decent "poses" with my dominant hand and also keeping my non-dominant hand steady while taking shots);

I've showed L.A. Girl - Uninhibited many times here at the blog but it hasn't had a dedicated post earlier. Uninhibited has matte black hexes in in two sizes, tiny and middle size, all in a clear base. The glitter is also very dense and below is 1 single coat. It is awesome for nail art, such as gradients and also layerings, as here, over a subtle needledragging in green and yellow. Hopefully Karin also approves this manicure to the Green Wednesday at Vacker&Underbar.

Oh, my blog routine are all over the place, it's like if I got all the time in the world and therefore don't have any time at all. I'm trying to organize my portfolio so I can get an internship or job here and I guess that my mind is occupied with that.

Anyhow, some nails to enjoy. I think that L.A. Girl released their Splatter Collection in 2013 containing white glitter + different colors in clear bases. One of the bottles I bought was Splat which has matte red hexes in three sizes and matte white hexes in two sizes, in a clear base as said. Think I used one coat on top of Blue My Mind (which I adore), all the red glitter on my pointer is coincidence btw. What do you think about this combo in red, white, blue?

Today I have a simple nail art to show you. A green base on all nails, black glitter gradients and a heart accent nail and a metal bead accent nail. All in all this is my last contribution to the United in Green theme week and a big thank you to Karin at Vacker&Underbar for hosting. This Nail Art Sunday is also in cooperation with United in Green but also has a theme; namely love. As you see my symbole of love is quite subtle here (with three hearts) but I really liked it this way, hope you do too. <3

I sure have a love for accent nails, and Lelack's Nail Art Sunday theme was perfect for me; Skittlette. The colors I choose this time was nude, black and gold and I did my left and right hand somewhat different but still very cohesive. And I'm very happy with the end result, in my mind it feel edgy and bold but still luxurious and subtle in other ways. ^^ Hope you like em'.
