Ehm, to be honest this isn't a nail art I'm so happy with, but I'm showing it anyhow. I don't like my accent nail, think I placed the rhinestone while the base polish was too wet and also pressed down the rhinestones to far down, making them drown slightly. I like my other nails though. And as you see, it's a nail art with the Born Pretty Store Rhinestones which I've reviewed HERE and also showed HERE before. ^^

I love a nice gray color on my nails and I think I have too few in my stash, a very welcome member of the "gray's" are Kleancolor - Concrete Gray. It's a creme and has a dark gray color which is purple leaning in color which make it look quite purple in some lights. It takes 2 coats to cover and I really like it. :)

Bought from Ebay. Total per bottle is like 14-19 SEK or like 1,5-2 euro.

Hi! Just got back to my home town and with me I brought a bad cold.. However, I dived in to my archive and found Etude House - #6 Mini Black Face, which is the polish I'm showing today. Feels like I've showed all my Etude House on a gray base but apparently I like it like that. XD

#6 Mini Black Face is on of the polishes from Etude House's XOXO Minnie In The Nails collection. The polish has black matte minnie/mickey mouse face glitter, larger matte pink hexagons, some middle size matte white hexagons and matte pink/white/black hexagons in a smaller size, all in a clear base. I used 2-3 coats (some dabbing and placement but the black faces where fairly easy to get on the brush). I like the result even though I feel like the next time I'll use this I'll make sure that my nails are as long as possible. I also think I'll use a lighter color next time, the gray looks darker with this combo than usual. What do you think?

Hi! Posting every day just failed..however today I have a layering done with with Etude house over a subtle gray gradient.

I saw Boom Boom Boom at ebay and knew I wanted to grab it. It has matte diamond shaped glitter in white, red, black and purple, and also glittery silver diamond shaped glitter, and then matte black and white string glitter in a clear base.

I like the concept of this (it's btw also my first polish with diamond shaped glitter) but as usual I don't like the combo of glittery glitter+ matte glitter in the same polish. And to complain a bit more the string glitter was of the long kind (I like string glitter but I prefer the short type). Basically this is 3 or 4 "dabbing and placing" coats. Not my favorite but still totally unique in my collection.

What do you think? Got any proposals for base colors for this one?

Hi guys, for today I have another Christmas inspired nail art to show. This one is much different than the typical Christmas nail art, it's edgier, more rock n roll(?), have non traditional main colors but I like that, everything doesn't have to be super traditional. About the nail art it self, I've used my favorite gray creme polish, red rhinestones, water decals (red sculls with Christmas hats XD) and red metal beads. This was my first try with water decals and it worked fine and was easier and faster than I thought. Removal was also easy and I'll try more decals in the future. The red metal beads bleed some of it's red color even though I was very careful. All in all I liked the result and I hope you do too.

Water decals from ebay.

Are you traditional when it comes to Christmas with colors? Are your decorative stuff (if you got any) mainly in red/gold/green/silver or some other color? This past year's I haven't had anything but I have a lot of black Christmas decorations (it was trendy here in Sweden for some years ago) and I actually liked that. However when it comes to my nails Christmas seems to be in a rainbow, any and all colors works for me, obviously ;)

Here I have another one from HM Matte Metallic Collection, yesterday I showed the blue one and basically this has the same features as the blue one. This one is only called Silver, which is weird since the other two have the word "Metal" after the color. It's matte and metallic, takes two coats and I remember it to dry fast considering there's no fast drying top coat on top. I just love this and recommends it! It reminds of the actual metal paint my grand father used to paint details on his tractor when I was a tiny little girl.

And an announcement, I'm joining Loving Cosmetics Christmas Challenge. I'll give you more details about that later today because I'm planning on posting my first post in the challenge, I should have done it yesterday but I was too tired even though the photos were done and all that! lol :P

Hi, hope you all will have a great Friday! I feel very happy today because my brother visited me yesterday, we ate pizza and talked about stuff in general. I don't see him that often since we live far from each other but now he was close by since of work. Another nice thing is that me and my bf are going to visit my parents this weekend. Something more blog related is that I feel like such a bad blogger at the moment, I have only had a limited time for reading and commenting other people's blogs and even answer comments on my own blog. I feel lucky that I've been some days ahead with the halloween theme, otherwise it would have been impossible. First I was going to show you another nail art but then I realized that I'm actually are wearing a holo nail art at the moment and since it's Holo Friday at Skimmerskuggan I changed my plans and decided to show that one instead.

When I started with this I had some other plans and started of by making a gray gradient. The gradient turned out a bit bleh..so I decided to use a gray holographic polish on top and then use some devil's like fimos (I think they're devils at least?) as decoration. This time I decided to have the fimos on all nails. I actually liked the result quite more than I first thought. Oh, and btw, I want to excuse in advance, the photos are mostly taken under a lamp so they aren't the best...
