Today's post features a brand that is new to this blog: Jindie Nails! Jindie Nails has really become a popular brand lately, and after trying them I can definitely understand why. These polishes are fun and easy to apply! Let's take a look at the swatches.
First we have Barney Blew Up. This polish has a pink-purple base with white, silver, purple, and magenta glitters, and silver shimmer. It also has some neon green translucent glitters and white hearts (not pictured - I didn't end up with any in my swatch). This swatch is three coats though you could probably get away with two.
Burrrberry is one of my favorites. This white base is accented with blue, magenta, and dark wine colored glitters. It really looks so gorgeous on the nail. The formula was really fantastic. I was worried that the white base would be streaky or clumpy but when I applied it, I was really impressed! This is just two coats!
Rave is one of the newest shades in the Jindie family. This white jelly base has bright blue, magenta, yellow, and green glitters. Party city! I used two and a half coats here. Like Burrrberry, the formula was really easy to work with.
Swoon has a pale blue jelly base with multicolored neon translucent glitters and blue dot glitters. I think this makes a great spring polish, it's like a robin's egg! This is three coats.
Princess Breath is a cool minty green base with multiple colors of glitter, including pink, blue, green, and dark purple. I love the abundance of smaller glitters in this, it really adds a lot of visual interest and texture. This is three coats.
Taste Like Snozberries is a sweet and bright warm lilac shade with blue, pink, purple, and silver glitters. It's really cute! This is just two coats -- it has great coverage!
Blue Ivy is unique to this post in that it is the only polish that is not a semi-opaque jelly base with lots of glitter. Instead, it is a highly pigmented and gorgeous holographic. Seriously - TOTES AMAZE. It's so amazing that I just said totes amaze, which probably made a lot of you roll your eyes at me. This is a one coater! ONE! And it's so vibrant!
Here it is in direct light. Yummmmm.
Jindie Nails polishes definitely have a certain aesthetic. I think Jen, the creator, has a great eye for balance and I enjoyed these polishes a lot. Blue Ivy was kind of the wild card, but clearly I love it! Other favorites for me are Burrrberry and Princess Breath, though there wasn't a single polish in the bunch that I didn't like.
Jindie Nails polishes are sold on Etsy, though the shop is currently in vacation mode. You can also purchase them through the stockists on Llarowe, Ninja Polish, and Mei Mei's Signatures. Keep up with Jindie Nails on Facebook and Instagram for news and polish previews!
