Here I have a simple Valentine's nail art in black and green. A non-girly version suitable for any time really. I also got the chance to try my green Golden Rose topper which has medium size circle glitter, tiny squares and hexagons and string glitter, all in matte green. And then I hand painted a heart in green as an accent. For more green manicures, go visit Karin and her Green Wednesday.

My dominant hand.

Today I'm showing Dance Legend Termo Shine No.179, a polish who changes color depending on the temperature, ie. thermo polish ;) Here the two colors are a white/light pink nude and bright red filled with matte black glitter which of course is unaffected by the temperature. The glitter is hexagons in two sizes and also some short string/bar glitter. The color scheme is that it's white/light pink nude when it's hot and red when it's cold. The application was great and even though I haven't made any notes I remember it to be 2 coats. Basically I loooooove this polish! It is so beautiful!  So, what do you think? <3

Here's a polish I've bought in Germany at Claire's. They have a nice range of polish and Splatter Green interested me. Splatter Green has a super light green jelly base (but shows as clear on the nail) which is filled with matte glitter in different shapes. I see green hexagons in 2 sizes, white hexagons in 4 sizes, black hexagons in 4 sizes and also black long and also very curled string glitter. The promblem here is clearly the string glitter being curled, it looks cool when it lays down flat to the nail though. However, it feels impossible to brush down if it has curled down the "wrong" making it stick up. Here I layered it with 3 coats because I wanted it to be really glitter dense (but 1-2 coats look good too) over a light green (Essence - 03, I Hol Di Mit'm Traktor Ab). Maybe a lighter green would have looked better, the base is a dull green and the green glitter is really bright, however the nuance is pretty similar. I'll definitely try it over other colors in the future. :) A gradient from white-green-black would be super cool for example. ;)
This is also this years last Green Wednesday, so don't miss that out ;)

Hi lovelies, today I have a nail art with two of the polishes from the Horizon Collection from China Glaze, the one I showed alone; Flock Together and You're A Hoot joined in a bar/string glitter gradient. I like the look, both polishes have black string glitters and morph together quite nice even though I think I could have worked a bit more on it. Overall I like it, especially from a distance. ^^

I know I'm quite alone liking string glitter/bar glitter, but when it comes to matte glitter I don't mind. :)
Flock Together comes from the China Glaze - The Horizon collection from 2013 and I bought some of the polishes quite soon after but these pictures have been laying unpublished for awhile.

Flock Together took 3 coats to cover! Which is a surprisingly good coverage, way better than I expected. The strings are shorter than normal string glitter and the colors are matte; black, light blue and light green. After the glitter had dried I filed away some excess glitter sticking out (I guess that's a downside with string glitter, but an easy fixed problem though). Overall I really like this polish. :)

Hi! I've been gone for quite some time now, there has been work, personal life and just a lot of things going on, both negative and positive ones. Some fun nail polish related things is that I've been to Canada and I've done some fun polish shopping there and I've also done an awesome nail polish swap with my favorite Russian girl. :)

Today however I'll start with something simple from my archive. A prismatic glitter gradient over a black creme. The first photos are just regular small hex glitter and in the last one I actually added prismatic string glitter too. Hope you like it. :)

Hi! Today I'm showing this purple mani with a string glitter gradient, or at least that is what I tried to achieve. I'm one of those who don't mind string glitter (I know some people hate it) but this wasn't the best combination or placement. However I must get my hands on some of China Glaze's matte string glitter. And yea, this manicure is from January this year. Hope you like it. :)
