If you've read my post from last day, you might have seen that me and Zara from Traces Of Polish have joined forces and organized a Valentine theme week next week (10/2-16/2) which we've named;
Valentine Polish Week. Anyone can join so please do! HERE is more info.
For the first day of this theme week I've decided to show something which isn't obviously too cute and "Valentine like". The colors aren't typical and the only thing really hinting is the hearts.
I started with the burgundy colored polish I showed last week and combined the burgundy with a warm purple color and I really like the result, the two colors looks really great together! I also added a metal heart stud on each nail. A weird thing is that I got some tc-shrinkage (which I never ever get!) so I decided to frame the nail with a black fine liner. I think the framing works, feels like it mostly blend in to the gradient. What do you think? Obvious rescue operation or a cool lucky strike creating something different? And do you think this works for a Valentine nail art or is it not Valentine enough? ;)
Polishes used:
Color Club - Slow Jam
ZTIZ nail polish (purple, number unknown)
Jordana Pop Art - Black Mark
Metal heart studs
