Good morning folks! Today you get two posts from me -- one nail art and one indie collection swatch post. Let's start out with the nail art!
If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you may be aware that I have a little doggie named Chowder. He is an adorable bichon frise/poodle mix and a really sweet little guy. I love him almost too much. Well today just happens to be his fifth birthday! Of course I had to do nails to celebrate!
I wanted these nails to look like a puppy was walking through a confetti covered floor, or something. They turned out really festive and fun, I think!
I started with a base of OPI Did You Ear About Van Gogh. Then I freehanded on puppy prints using OPI The Color of Minnie, LCN Spice Up Your Life, China Glaze Happy Go Lucky, Essie Mojito Madness, OPI Ogre the Top Blue, and OPI Funky Dunkey.
Finally, I hand placed bits of pieces of glitter and shards from Pretty and Polished Mardi Party for the filler confetti.
On my thumb, I freehanded a five because he is turning five years old (duh).
Of course I couldn't let this post go without using it as an excuse to post a bunch of pictures of him! Prepare for maximum cuteness!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE CHOWDIE!
